Eddie has worked in Italy, France & Switzerland during the course of his career. While overseas, his work included educational, residential, corporate and healthcare facilities. He has received extensive training in preservation, restoration and adaptive re-use of historically significant structures. By way of Roche Dinkeloo Associates in New Haven, Connecticut and Studio Morsa in New York, Mr. Fava returned to private practice in Charleston, South Carolina in 1991 shortly after the completion of a research fellowship at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice, Italy . He has served on the City of Charleston Building Inspections Board and as appointed by the Mayor of Charleston, South Carolina serves as a member of the City’s prestigious Board of Architectural Review. He is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and registered in South Carolina, Virginia and the United States Virgin Islands.

Joel Trantham | NCARB

Joel made his way to Charleston by way of Clemson’s undergraduate and University of Virginia’s Masters of Architecture program. With professional experience in both architecture and landscape architecture firms he developed a process to create spaces which integrate both the interior and exterior realms as well as balancing historic preservation and contemporary construction. Joel has worked with e. e. fava architects since 2011 and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and a registered architect in South Carolina.

Michael Strople | NCARB

Michael grew up in the Charleston area developing a love of history and architecture. After graduating Clemson’s Masters of Architecture program, his early professional education began in Charlotte, NC designing large Multi-Family and Office projects. The opportunity arose to return to the historic architecture of his hometown, and a passion for the integration of modern functionality and design, while preserving the history and culture of the area, continues to grow. Michael joined e. e. fava architects in 2017 and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and is a registered architect in South Carolina.
